Our Missions...
The Women of St. John’s
This hard-working, long-standing group meets throughout the year, spreading its ministry throughout the greater Oneida community in many different ways:
St. John’s joins with other churches and clergy of the Oneida Area Christian Churches in sponsoring and operating the “Karing Kitchen”, a ministry of preparing and serving meals during the last full week of each month at the Salvation Army in Oneida.
The average number served are from 60 to 75, although over 100 are often served. St. John’s does this on Tuesdays, four times per year, and includes breakfast as well as lunch.
We are always looking for people to help in this vital ministry.

“Helping Hands” is a quiet, compassionate and effective ministry by individuals who volunteer, on a monthly basis, to provide a helping hand to someone within the parish who needs a ride to the doctor, or a home-cooked meal upon returning from the hospital, or whatever personal need arises. Contact Carol Reinhardt with your offer to help, or your request for help.
